The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a 35-year-old graduate of the Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH) identified as Abiola Hamzat, for allegedly stealing 20 bags of cement. Reports stated that the suspect was arrested by the operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) alongside his accomplice, identified as Adebayo Kazeem after stealing from a brick- making company. The graduate who was said to have been recently promoted from a Contract Security to an operator with a salary raise of N215,000 per month. Confirming the reports to newsmen, the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Dolapo Badmus, said that the suspects have been transferred to the State Criminal Investigative Department, Yaba for prosecution.
